RHÉNI TAUCHIDRheni is a materials consultant and part of Tri-Art's product development team, as well as a practising visual artist and instructor, and founder of the Tri-Art Acrylic Education Program. She has a unique and thorough understanding of the material from both the painters and manufacturers point of view.
Rheni is the author of two books published by Watson-Guptill/Random House about acrylic paints; The New Acrylics (2005), an in-depth look at the character and application possibilities of artist acrylic paints, and it's sequel, New Acrylics Essential Sourcebook (2009). Her books have been translated into Dutch and German. Her latest book, Acrylic Painting Methods and Materials (The Monacelli Press Pub.), focusing on acrylic painting mediums, was released in June 2018. Rheni continues to explore the world of acrylic painting through writing, painting and teaching locally at Art Noise, online through Craftsy Sympoz Inc. as well as workshops and demos in Canada and abroad. She is based in Kingston, Ontario Canada. |
