Christina has worked in the visual arts for the over 30 years, as an artist and arts educator. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where she studied watercolour, gouache, printmaking and art history.
While living in Sudbury, Christina worked as a gallery curator and art critic for Sudbury’s “Northern Life” newspaper. The rocks and rugged character of northern Ontario remains an influence in her painting.
Christina was a founding member of the artisan co-operative “Amaryllis” and has taught drawing and painting to children through “Art for Kids”. She worked for 23 years as a teacher with the Upper Canada District School Board.
Retiring to Kingston in 2014, Christina has become actively involved in the arts community in the city as a Docent and member of The Agnes Advisory Board. She teaches art to children and adults at The Tett Centre, The Agnes, The Senior’s Centre and Art Noise.
