Tiina Kukkonen is a visual artist, experienced arts educator, and PhD candidate in the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University. She holds a BFA and MA from Concordia University, as well as a DEC in Fine Arts from Dawson College in Montreal.
Over the last 15 years, Tiina has taught art in various community and school environments, from early childhood to post-secondary and beyond. As an artist, her work is primarily inspired by northern nature, craft, and design.
Her works have been exhibited and sold in Montreal, Kingston, and New York City.
