VANESSA JANE MARTIN
Vanessa Jane Martin is a local abstract painter, working with acrylic on wood and canvas. Vanessa also teaches ‘Creative Art Workshops” throughout the city, focusing her attention on the process and enjoyment of painting and the belief that anyone who wants to paint can for all ages.
Her work is often described as bright, bold and heavily textured, and always at least slightly abstract in nature. She has been a professional artist since 2008, however her education is in Sociology and Community Social Services; interestingly the two subject matters often collide. WEBSITE
